WASTE TRANSFER STATIONS
Waste Transfer Stations and Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs), regardless of permitting restrictions, design and other safeguards will always be subject to some degree of fugitive malodors. The simple fact of hauling incoming and outgoing waste affects potential odor dispersion as well as the open-air nature of many sites. Additionally, fugitive odors are an unintended consequence of the fact that most of these facilities are, by design, in populated areas and communities.
Employing a waterless vapor-phase system, we can “curtain” around loading bay doors to contain escaping odors, create perimeter defense to contain airborne malodors carried by prevailing winds and establish on-site defense around and within processing bays and sheds.
